Space Quest

This is not just your ordinary 2-player board game. There are 6 spots on the board called "Worm Hole" spots that will whisk you off to another space, sometimes forward & sometimes backwards. There are 6 spots on the board called "Alien" spots that require the player to pick a "Space Travel" card with various space travel related issues. Most cards will cause the player to move backwards, some forward. There is also 1 specialty card in the deck which will bring up an entirely independent sub-game which will require some arcade style playing. The success of this sub-game will determine whether the player moves backwards or forward after completing the sub-game.

The sub-game is simple but fun. The player will have 30 seconds to destroy as many alien space ships as possible. The player must position the cross hair over the space ship and press the left mouse button to fire the photon torpedo to destroy it. The success of this battle will determine whether or not the player moves forward or backwards when exiting the sub-game.

This game has a Human vs Human mode as well as a Human vs Computer AI mode which is selectable by the PLAY OPTIONS button at the main title/menu screen.
